Our Staff

Our design and development team includes electronic and electro-mechanical design engineers, a printed-circuit-board designer and assembly and test operatives.

Major assemblies, such as printed-circuit-boards and machined parts are procured from approved sub-contractors, leaving the company to concentrate on product final assembly and test.

Executive Directors

Mr Bill Eunson, BSc BE CEng MIEE Chairman and Managing Director

Bill is one of the founders of the company with over 20 years experience in the UK drives industry. During the 1980s he was responsible for the development of a number of drives for military applications whilst employed by a major UK defence company. Bill left this employment during 1989 and formed Motech Control. Whilst he was responsible for the company's design and development in the early years, he now concentrates primarily on sales activities and other strategic aspects of the company.

Mr Ian Andrews, MSc MIEE Technical Director

Ian joined Motech Control as Technical Director during 1996. He brought with him a wealth of experience in control systems theory and applications. This was obtained primarily in the UK defence industry whilst working on a number of major projects, including land, sea and air-based servo-systems. With Ian's arrival, the company was able to develop digital drives, using basic microcontrollers or more sophisticated DSPs. He is now responsible for the company's design and development activities.

Mr Steve Walford Company Secretary and Financial Director

Steve joined the company during 1995. Prior to this he was employed as an Accountant with a large London local authority. Steve is responsible for the company's long-term financial planning, as well as monitoring recent performance and preparing near-term forecasts.
